Oliver Giroud is considering offers from other top clubs in Europe in January in order to secure his place in France squad for Euro 2021.

The 34 year old is yet to make Lampard’s starting XI this season in the premier league or champions league, with his one start in six appearances coming in the league cup.

However under Didier Deschamp, the French striker has scored five goals in his last eight international outings.

And the former Arsenal star has been advised by Deschamps to leave Stamford Bridge if he wants to retain his position in Les Bleus’ squad ahead of Next year’s Euros.

France manger told the radio station    RTL:

” Olivier Giroud knows it; the situation he’s in  today cannot drag on forever.

” Before March he will have to find another situation than this one.

“He knows what I think, even if I don’t forget everything he has done ( for the national team) and everything he would still be able to do.”

Giroud signed a new one year contract before the end of last season after keeping a good relationship with the Chelsea’s management.

However, he has fallen from the Blues’s Pecking order following the arrival of Timo Werner as Tammy Abraham is regarded as a second striker after the Germany forward.

Giroud became France second highest goal scorer in history with 44 goals, seven shorts of Thierry Henry’s strikes.
